|| Maha Mrityunjay Mantra ||

Om Trayambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam Urvarukmiv Bandhananmrityormukshiya Mamritat ||

ऊँ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्, उर्वारुकमिव बंधनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माघ्मृतात्।।

Meaning

I bow to that three-eyed Lord Shiva who is full of sweet fragrance and nourishes all human being. May he liberate me from the bondage of births and deaths in the same way as a cucumber is separated from its root and i may become a free soul.

Significance

It is said to be beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health and to be a moksha mantra which bestows longevity and immortality.


|| Ganesh Mantra ||

Vakratund Mahakay Suryakoti Samaprabha |
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Dev Sarvakaryaeshu Sarvada ||

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा।।

Meaning

O Lord Ganesha, of curved trunk, large body, and with the brilliance of a million Suns, please free me of obstacles, always.

Significance

This Mantra is chanted in the beginning of all important tasks with the objective of getting rid of all types of obstacles and get success easily.


|| Mahalaxmi Beej Mantra ||

Om Shreen Mahalaxmaye Namah ||

ऊँ श्रीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः।।

Meaning

I meditate on the Goddess of Wealth (Mahalaxmi).

Significance

This mantra is believed to bring good fortune, prosperity, and harmony to the life of the devotees who recite them.


|| Saraswati Mantra ||

Om Aing Mahasaraswatyai Namah ||

ऊँ ऐं महासरस्वत्यै नमः।।

Meaning

I meditate on Saraswati the Goddess of intellect, knowledge, education, speech, music and creativity.

Significance

Saraswati is the mother goddess of music, arts & craft, knowledge, wisdom, consciousness and all Vedas. It is said if that one tries to appease the Goddess with the purest of emotions and true heart, she will bestow them with power to overcome any obstacles in their path; especially obstacles one faces in their educational life and career. This mantra is beneficial for students, artists and singers.


|| Gayatri Mantra ||

Om Bhur Bhuvah Swah Tatsaviturvarenyam |
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayaat ||

ऊँ भूर्भवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गोदेवस्य धीमहि धियो योनः प्रचोदयात्।।

Meaning

We meditate on the glory of that Being who has produced this universe; may He enlighten our minds

Significance

Gayatri is said to be the power that can destroy and overcome all sins and sorrows, and the chanting of which helps us overcome adversity. Gayatri proclaims the fundamental doctrine of Vedas that a man can get a realization of God in his life with his own efforts without the intervention of any prophet or Avtar. Reciting this mantra one becomes intelligent. Gayatri is the mother of Vedas and all knowledge. By reciting this Mantra one gets rid of all types of sins. One becomes energetic. It brings Siddhis. According to Lord Buddha, it is a small Mantra but has unlimited powers in it.


|| Sarva Kalyaani Mantra ||

Sarv Mangal Mangalye Shive Sarvarth Sadhike Sharanye Trayambke Gouri Narayani Namostute ||

सर्वमंगल मांगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थ साधिके शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोस्तुते।।’

Meaning

Salutations to You O Narayani) Who is the Auspiciousness in All the Auspicious, Auspiciousness Herself, Complete with All the Auspicious Attributes, and Who fulfills All the Objectives of the Devotees (Purusharthas – Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha), Who is the Giver of Refuge, With Three Eyes and a Shining Face; Salutations to You O Narayani.

Significance

It brings all round success, good luck, and prosperity on all fronts.


|| Rama Meditation Mantra||

ॐ आपदामपहर्तारम् दातारम् सर्वसम्पदाम्।

लोकाभिरामम् श्रीरामम् भूयो-भूयो नमाम्यहम्॥

Om Apadamapahartaram Dataram Sarvasampadam।

Lokabhiramam Shriramam Bhuyo-Bhuyo Namamyaham॥

Translation of the Mantra

I bow repeatedly to Lord Shri Rama, the one who is most beautiful in the world, the one who wards off sorrow and gives wealth to devotees.


|| Vishnu Shantakaram Mantra||

शान्ताकारम् भुजगशयनम् पद्मनाभम् सुरेशम्

विश्वाधारम् गगनसदृशम् मेघवर्णम् शुभाङ्गम्।

लक्ष्मीकान्तम् कमलनयनम् योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यम्

वन्दे विष्णुम् भवभयहरम् सर्वलोकैकनाथम्॥

 

Shantakaram Bhujagashayanam Padmanabham Suresham

Vishvadharam Gaganasadrisham Meghavarnam Shubhangam।

Lakshmikantam Kamalanayanam Yogibhirdhyanagamyam

Vande Vishnum Bhavabhayaharam Sarvalokaikanatham॥

Translation of the Mantra

I bow to Lord Vishnu the preserver and the protector of the universe, who is peaceful, who reclines on the great serpent bed, from whose navel springs the Lotus of the creative power, who is the Supreme Being, who supports the entire universe, who is all-pervading as the sky, who is dark like the clouds and has a beautiful form. The Lord of Lakshmi, the lotus-eyed One, whom the Yogis are able to perceive through meditation, salutations to Lord Vishnu who removes the fear of worldly existence and who is the Lord of all worlds.


||Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnu Mantra||

मङ्गलम् भगवान विष्णुः, मङ्गलम् गरुणध्वजः।

मङ्गलम् पुण्डरी काक्षः, मङ्गलाय तनो हरिः॥

Mangalam Bhagwan Vishnuh, Mangalam Garunadhwajah।

Mangalam Pundari Kakshah, Mangalaya Tano Harih॥

Translation of the Mantra

All auspiciousness to Lord Vishnu, all auspiciousness to one who has Garuda as His flag. All auspiciousness to One who has eyes like the lotus flowers, and auspiciousness to Hari.
